BIMS Analyze and Interpret Data

Ballard Integrated Managed Services Inc. or BIMS is a company that specializes in support services systems. BIMS provides housekeeping and foodservice to corporations and institutions across the United States. Ballard is a very reputable organization in the communities they serve. According to Ballard’s company information “The BIMS list of clientele includes 22 Fortune 100 businesses, over 100 midsized firms, 16 major universities, 14 medical centers, and 3 larger regional airports” (Apollo, n.d.). Ballard’s home office resides in New York City that allows the company to bring in more clientele from this centrally geographic area. Ballard Integrated Managed Services Inc. has some changes that they would like to implement that will make the company more effective. Team A will present the situation, describe the instrument for data collection, and identify the types of data. The team will identify the levels of measurement for each of the variables, code the data, and clean the data by eliminating errors. The presentation will conclude with a summary of the data that will meet the purpose of the research.

BIMS Data Collection

The morale of BIMS employees has weakened over the past several months. “The morale issue has come to light through a decrease in employee productivity, high employee turnover, increased sick time use, and poor work quality” (The University of Phoenix, 2014). The main goal for the general manager, Barbara Tucker, is to figure out why these negative changes have taken place. Once BIMS management understands the reasoning behind the low moral; the department heads can make the necessary changes to correct the issues with the company and employees.
