1.0 Executive Summary

NapMats, Inc. is preparing to launch its seller market from online distributors to store retailers. NapMats, Inc. can effectively compete with many other distributors because their product offers a higher level of personalization, competitive pricing, and durability. NapMats, Inc. will be targeting specific segments in the consumer and business markets. In an effort to reach a larger clientele to expand consumer markets, NapMats, Inc. marketing objective is to give private designers and distributors a home base from which to work and increase revenue exponentially within one year.

2.0 Situation Analysis

NapMats, Inc. was founded 12 months ago by two mothers with experience in making personalized nap mats. These two mothers both offered their products through online retailers such as Etsy. Due to an increase in demand and competition these two mothers found it hard to sustain high customer service. In order to increase their capabilities these two women decided to create an organization to help private designers/distributors such as themselves to increase their market size and increase their personal workforce

2.1 Market Summary

NapMats, Inc. market consists of consumers and distributors who need/want personalization of children’s’ nap mats. Specific segments being targeted during the first year include parents of young children, and private manufacturers who want to expand their markets, and retailers in need of quality, personalized products to offer their consumers. The personalization that NapMats, Inc. offers will appeal to those segments. NapMats, Inc.’s purchasers can choose between a variety of colors, patterns, and monogramming options at affordable pricing. These products will be available through online advertisements, and print advertisement offered through individual retailers.
