Entrepreneurship is the strength on which the United States economy stands; successful business ownership is not only about financial attainment, but also about the satisfaction of developing a product or service that fulfills a desired need. It is about brining something that did not exist and making it into a reality. In today’s society more and more people are leaving corporate America and pursuing entrepreneurship; some people enter the realm of entrepreneurship as a way of following their dreams, others may enter a result of a job lay off. Entrepreneurship comes with many rewards such as, flexibility, the power to set one’s own hours, the ability to balance one’s personal and professional life, independence is also a major reward of owning one’s own business, the power to make and enforce the rules is always a plus. There is also a downside to entrepreneurship such as, putting in long hours, the pressure of risking everything, and no security of a steady income in the first few years; however many people are becoming more and more successful in being business owners, with much hard work and persistence the sky is the limit.
