I once took part in a competition about the ERP table simulation course and my position is the CEO of our company. In one circumstance, we were making a decision about how to use our long-term debt. Some of us thought that we should invest much capital in advertising so that we could quickly occupy the market, sell more product immediately. But what I was thinking about is our company’s long term strategy. I wanted to exchange the market share in the short term for a blossom last to the end. So I decided to put our capital into established the production line. It could promote our production capacity—the fundamental in ERP table simulation course. Firstly, once we have product, we could easily accomplish the task of our own contracts and have some more surplus products that we could sell to other team in a really high price. Secondly, we could develop new markets more confidence because we have the ability to complete the orders. But I knew it would be difficult for them to accept it and I didn’t want to force them to follow my plan only because I was the CEO. I told myself to be more patience, concentrate on the team building, try my best to persuade them. So for the sake of avoiding conflict and internal contradictoriness, I asked them a question first: if I could only product 5 goods and sold them immediately, or I could product 20 goods and sold only 2 of them now but in the subsequent period we could sell out these goods. Which one will make more profit? All of them said they would choose the second one. Then I asked: the capability of 5 or the capability of 20, which one could civil the market and follow the path of stability? All of them choose the second one again. Then I said: look, totally competent in capability can both make more profit and gain a foothold in the market.
