1- AL WAYS WASH OUR HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING FOOD

Our hands are one of the main ways germs are spread. It is important to wash the hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking or touch the food such as vegetable and fruit. It is very important to wash hands after Using the toilet, handling raw food, coughing or sneezing, touching hair, face or body, smoking, handling spoiled items, scraping tableware, after disposing garbage, after handling raw meat and before handling cooked or ready-to-eat food. It is significant that we be thoroughly instructed in the proper method of washing our hands. The right way to wash our hands is to use soap and water, rub the hands vigorously for 20 seconds as we wash them, wash all surface including (back of hands, wrists, between fingers, under finger nails using a good brush, rinse your hands) and dry hands with a paper towel. At last turn off the water using paper towel instead of bare hands.

2- CLEAN AS YOU GO

Washing everything we use for the cooking and worktops as they can be a source of cross-contamination.

Damp sponges the one we use it in kitchen are the perfect place for bacteria to breed and also the highest number of germs in the home are found in that sponges. We have to wash and replace sponges frequently. Wash worktops before and after preparing food, and especially after we have been touched by raw meat, including poultry, raw eggs, fish and vegetable. No need to use particularly sprays, hot soapy water is fine. Always use a clean chopping board if possible, use one chopping board for fresh products such as vegetables, and a separate one for raw meat and poultry. In order to keep the kitchen, and the equipment clean keep the rubbish in a covered bin and empty it regularly so it does not attract flies.
