Since I have an idea what I plan on doing the next five years. What is the direction that I am going to take? While looking at a webpage called the Mentoring group it gave me a way to show how my vision statement will be developed. (Mentor 2014)

While I am currently in the Air Force, and I have one year remaining on my contract I decided that I am going to get out after this enlistment. It’s crazy how communication is something that I truly believe in. Without communication you cannot complete the mission in a timely manner. There is such a lack of communication I believe that it is unbelievable. When I signed up for the Air Force 11 years ago I assumed that it would be honor to fight for the constitution for our country. Was I totally wrong 11 year ago for even signing on the dotted line!

Looking into the future I really have no idea where I am going to go, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Finance. I would love to work with a company that I can help and grow into the 21st Century. The reason I would like to have a company that I grow with is because if you have good management then you will have managers who care about their people. If you have your employees happy they will make the customers happy and if the customers are happy then that hopefully means more profit.

How to accomplish my goal I will work towards my Masters in Human Resource Management. I will have to work hard every day to be the best worker I can be and the best student that I can be. I will use that I learned in my Undergrad work and what I am learning in my Master’s program. I know that with Human Resources that the program will never change like science or even computer technology. Who knows if I love what I do I might just go after a PhD in the program and maybe teach, but this is just a short term goal of 5 years.
