The Coca-Cola Company has distinctive capabilities since it has a rich heritage of marketing successes and experiences over the past years. Furthermore, the current CEO, Muhtar Kent is a positive force that will continue to boost the company’s success.  He is quite ambitious, focusing on the long-term growth of the company, his main goals being, establishing a long-term vision, and restoring the brand’s growth in North America. This will ensure  that the company stays a step ahead of most companies.

The Coca-Cola Company has come up with a new campaign on the new diet coke, which encourages funs of the brand to ‘choose love over like’. It encourages the funs to embrace life’s every moment with the same passion and love they have for their beverages. The global brand director Elena Pinakatt showed her support for this campaign and said that one of Dalai Lama quote inspired it: ‘The more you are motivated by love, the more fearless and free your actions will be’.
