I can’t say that I’ll be completely correct when I sit down and give the answers to this but I’m trying. And this is all that you’re asking of me. So when I think of Culture and meaning behind the word In my opinion I think of the past and what have come from it in the mist of all that was developed and formed to become the present and soon to be the future. But the definition of the word means, the quality in a person or society that arises from a concern for what is regarded as excellent in arts, letters, manners, scholarly pursuits, etc. And then you asked what visual entertainment is. Well visual entertainment, if I was asked this question and didn’t know the definition of it I would say it would be something that entertains me visually as for a TV show or a game that will be played by vision. But the definition for visual entertainment is amusement or pleasure that comes from watching a performer, playing a game, etc. In what ways have various forms of visual entertainment media Shaped American culture and its values? In a one way I think “The Cosby Show” would be one form of visual entertainment that shaped American culture and the values of it. At that particular time when this show aired it showed how the American family was at that time. The family of love and how there was a mother and a father and how they had five kids and the issues that occurred in the home and how they dealt with them as a family. It was a perfect image of what they thought that family should be like. Are the social influences of visual entertainment media mostly? Well I didn’t really understand this question so the only thing I could think to say about this is yes what people see visually happens to be what they choose to talk about in their daily lives. And it may depend on the individual and what opinion they have to form about what is going on. I think that this only depends on the individual. Such as the news broadcasting the trial of George Zimmerman about him killing that kid...
