Aromatic, Exotic and Royalty Expressions

There is nothing like the satisfaction of expressing your feelings by given flowers.

Flowers are so colorful and beautiful species created by God to decorate human lives and

their places. The flowers that are frequently used to decorate and given in special occasions

are the Gardenias, Orchids and Roses. They are very similar to each other and they constitute

the largest division in the plant kingdom. They were brought to America centuries ago.

Florists businesses have a great demand throughout the year for special dates and special

occasions..

Gardenias originated from China and South Africa, they were brought to America

during the colonial days. The flowers are believed to be named after Alexander Garden and

there are over 200 different kinds and only come in pale yellow and white. This flower is

very well know as the “Fragant Flower” in Latin American and Europe for its fragrance.

Gardenias are not the easiest plant to grow but the exquisite fragrant of the flowers make up

for the extra attention and maintenance they require. Gardenias are excellent flowers to be

given for that special occasion.

The orchid family is the largest family of the flowering plants. The Garden Institute

listed 22,000 species of orchids but the exact number is not known. The majority of

orchids are found in the tropics, mostly Asia, South America and Central America. Orchids

are easily distinguished for their similar characteristics and require a great deal of care.

The Temperature must be between 68 and 75 degrees and too much light during summer can

damage the flowers. The soil has to be specially made for it to grow and flourish. In

addition to this, orchids are quite sensitive to air pollution, water quality and fertilizer. This
