The best and most memorable results and performances will be seen when it’s team cohesion is at its peak. Group cohesion can be affected by deviant actions undertaken by members of a particular group. Essentially actions that are deemed negative will lower perceived team cohesion (Evans, 2009). When dealing with group eliminations or forming affect groups cohesion is very important. Social cohesion refers to the nature and quality of the emotional bonds of friendship, liking, caring, and closeness among group members. A group displays high social cohesion to the extent that its members like each other, prefer to spend their social time together, enjoy each other's company, and feel emotionally close to one another (Evans, 2009). Task cohesion refers to the shared commitment among members to achieving a goal that requires the collective efforts of the group. A group with high task cohesion is composed of members who share a common goal and who are motivated to coordinate their efforts as a team to achieve that goal. People tend to want to be around others who are like them: same color, sex, and rank, whatever. This creates barriers and draws lines (Evans, 2009).

I want to elaborate on a few members within this case with certain situations. Harold Aldrich, on behalf has the most seniority at UD, having been with the company for over thirty years. As a union worker, you probably know that your union or labor organization bargained with your employer on all sorts of things. How much you're paid, your work hours, and your insurance coverage are good examples.
