Introduction:

There are many factors to consider before managing a project. While conducting project management, profit and staff motivation are often have more influence. However, project manager must remember his obligation to be an ethical, responsible employee and corporate citizen. Some Ethical situations that faced by the project management could be the admission of wrongdoing, hard choices regarding contracts and focus of blame. Ethics are very important in gaining support of the project team. Ethics are defined as the moral values, beliefs and rules that one upholds in their life on job and personally to ensure right from wrong.

Summarizes how the project manager or team exhibited exceptional and ethical project management practices.

Ethics is simply defined as set of principles that guide our decision making based on personal values of what is right and wrong.

PMI's Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct

Deciding what is ethical is challenging and answers may differ depending on organization and culture in that organization. Project Management Institute offers simple ethics code of conduct guidance; the standards suggest that project managers practice ethical behaviour initially through accepting responsibility for their decisions and consequences, project managers should respect others, listen others views and give feedback and be honest in communications, project managers must practice fairness and transparency in their decision making.

These ethical standards also clearly defined how the professionals should behave with management, fellow members and also with society.
