Go to http://finance.yahoo.com. Enter in “AAPL” and click on the “get quote” button, and it will bring up information on Apple. On the left hand side you’ll see a section on Financials. Within that section, click on the cash flow. Review the cash flow statement for Apple. How would you summarize Apple’s cash flow position and what does this statement tell you about where the money is coming from and where it’s going? What would you suggest Apple’s do to improve its cash position and why?

After determining the cash flow statement it reads that Apple has made a tremendous increase in profits from 2011 to 2013. It was a much higher jump from 2011 to 2012. Determining the information presented Apple has done great when it came to making money on its products. They were getting many sales in those years. The statement addresses that Apple Corporation is making more money in stocks, products, borrowings, inventory, investments, and liabilities than any other company. My suggestion to Apple is to not borrow too much money that they would have to pay back (like they did in 2013) and then some.  I would change my way in investing money; I would approach it in a much different way.

| Rashaan,I would like to address that the inventory took a really major plunge in 2013. I believe it was because they had a much more inventory than what they were actually selling or being sold. I have heard so much negative conversations about the iphone. I was going to purchase one myself, but, I thank God I did not. They are not what the company say they are because they have so many negative qualities than good. They look good and convenient, but, they are no different than any other phones. I do not care how many iphones the company makes in a year status, they still would remain the same to me that their iphones are garbage. The iphone is losing their popularity...
