• Now that you have finished your research paper, what advice would you give for students starting this course?

Now that my research paper is completed, the advice that I would give to students that are just starting this course is to make sure that you pay close attention to everything that is taught in this course. The assignments along the way have definitely helped in increasing my writing skills. Use the feedback that is given to you as a way enhance your writing, it is there to help you along the way. I have made a few mistakes during my time with this course, but I only see the feedback that I was given as a way to correct my mistakes so the next time around I will not have to worry about it.

• What would you do differently if you were just starting this course? What would you focus on more? What would you focus on less? Explain your answers.

I would have paid more attention to the syllabus; I missed some points on an assignment because I forgot to answer some questions that went along with it. I would focus more on my research for my topic to find even more references that I could have used in my research paper. The references that I have now are good, but I believe that I could have found something better in order to explain my topic to the reader in a more suffice way. There is not really anything for me to focus on less, everything that I have gained from this course has helped me with my writing and helped in researching to find what is good to use when doing a research paper.
