Legal and Moral Aspect of Abortion.

Abortion and its legal status is one of the most argued issues in United States. This argument created many concerns for the studies of human rights, responsibilities and the actual creation of life that took completely different turn. People broke down in to three different groups. Firth one believes that abortion should be legal, second believes that it should be illegal but considered of certain circumstances where can be an option, and the third one is believes that, no matter what, abortion should be completely illegal. Each group offers very constructive arguments but none of them won yet.

The one of the big questions, when it comes to abortion, is the beginning of life. When life starts? Some believe that life starts at conceivement , some say at birth, law states that child’s right to the future life starts at three month after conceivement. This question is very important because it determines the actual answer to the issue. If life starts at conceivement then a child has every right to life as any human and should be protected by the law which would make an abortion completely illegal.

Scientists determined that on the week nine after fertilization more than 90% of the body structures found in a full-grown human are present. The medical classification changes from an embryo to a fetus. This dividing line was chosen by embryologists because from this point forward, most development involves growth in existing body structures instead of the formation of new ones.
