With the continues and rapidly changes that occur in the business world, enterprises seek to find new operations strategies and technologies to create superior value and unforgettable experiences to their customer in order obtain competitive advantages. Customers nowadays are more aware of the options and alternatives within one industry and more demanding than before, companies are working harder now to overcome the challenges of satisfying the demand of customers for product of high quality and cheap prices, thus enterprises must be responsiveness to customers needs which change rapidly and involve unique features. Effective supply chain is an essential element to meet customers’ needs, companies currently focusing on developing agile and flexible supply chain to improve their revenue, accelerate spreading their products in the markets with least cost. SCM includes all exchanges of information and actions between suppliers and end user customers which include manufacturers, distributors, retailers and any other part within the flow of SC. To engage all parties effectively and efficiently there is a significantly need for flexible and responsive supply chain.

Supply chain management concept is more likely of the concept of best practices in business, SC includes all movements and storage of raw materials, work in process inventory and finished goods from starting point to consumption point. The concept of SC strategy is defined as a set of approaches utilized to integrate suppliers, manufacturing, warehouses and stores in order to produce and distribute the right products and quantities to the right locations and customers at the right time with minimal costs and achieving higher level of satisfied customers.
