According to the business dictionary, motivation is defined as "Internal and external factors that stimulate desire and energy in people to be continually interested and committed to a job, role or subject, or to make an effort to attain a goal” (Motivation, 2014).

Motivation results from the interaction of both conscious and unconscious factors such as the desire or need to get something done, the incentive or reward that comes with reaching your goal, and expectations of the individual from his or her peers. My entire experience with that supervisor triggered me to look for another position because if our leader isn’t in the trenches with us, why should I. It felt like she didn’t care as much as she wanted us to. I always believe one should lead by example and they way she was leading was very demotivating.

Motivating Experience- I left that job after a year working...
