They work together and were good friends. They use to spend their Friday lunch hour at the lions sports club. The club was quite famous among locals. One day, the owner of the club requested them to fix a pot hole in the parking. But they refused as it was against the terms of the council. It took them 5 minutes to fix it and Joe (owner) thanked them. On the coming week, Joe didn’t charge them for their traditional lunch which cost about 20$ for both. They both were against it but Joe insisted and they left. After few months, their supervisor asked them whether they fixed a pot hole at lions club and is it the payment for fixing was a free lunch. They agreed that they fixed it with left over material and the owner didn’t accept the payment for the lunch. Next morning, they were sacked for not compelling with council’s policy and accepting bribe and stealing council property.
