ABSTRACT

In today’s environment, even local city, barangays and especially lot of school have come to rely on computerized management systems. Certainly, many schools continue to rely on manual means of score tracking. Moreover, the recent development of powerful computer programs capable of addressing a wide variety of record keeping needs in one integrated system have also contributed to the growing popularity of electronic control options. Every school performs beauty contest and pageants but majority still use the conventional process which is manual procedure.

The purpose of this study is to develop a better On- Lan based system for Mindoro State College of Agriculture and technology. To realize the objectives of the school in terms of organized scoring, On- Lan Pageant System was proposed. In manual scoring process the constraint were the counting of scores and declaration of winners take a long period of time, this scenario will lead to score counting inaccuracy thus manual process of scoring is not efficient procedure; it really needs to develop into an computerized process. The researcher came up to study to develop On- Lan Pageant System. Scoring system must implement to have an organized and faster transaction and to avoid unnecessary materials.

The proposed system intends to help the school to rely on a computerized system because as we observed, they only use a manually technique and they are having difficulties of getting the results and it take so much time. The system can help and benefit the school to solve the problems encountered in using manual scoring process.
