Throughout my eight-year Army career, I have encountered people from all walks of life who have brought a variety of experiences to the table. I have had some outstanding leadership, and some lackluster leadership. I have taken the good with the bad, and incorporated those experiences into my personal leadership philosophy. Leadership extends beyond the uniform; it is transcended through personal and professional successes and downfalls. As a leader, it is important to appreciate the contributions of our Soldiers, Civilians, and Contractors, and foster an environment of tolerance and professionalism at all levels. My leadership philosophy is simple.

The Army is a melting pot of people who form a team that is as strong as its weakest link. I value integrity, discipline, fairness, respectfulness, loyalty, commitment, and humbleness. As your leader, I am responsible for your wellbeing, and owe it to your family to ensure that I hold your best interests in the highest regard. I will accomplish my responsibilities as your leader, by first getting to know you and understanding your needs. I will be fair, and firm. I will be respectful to others, and loyal to the core. I will keep an open door, and an ear to listen. I will remain humble and committed to excellence. I will lead by example through exceeding the standards that I enforce.

Accomplishing the mission to standard and above is a top priority, but you and your family are my main priorities. When people are taken care of, the mission is always accomplished to the highest of standards. Your pay, your personnel actions, and your overall wellbeing are my primary priorities as a leader.

I expect the very best from everyone. Professionalism, commitment to excellence, research ability, and an attitude to never give up, is what I am looking for from you.
