Narration

Narration is the art of storytelling and is used to tell stories.

The narration essay is organized best by chronological order.

Create strong detail. Make sure you know what your purpose is.

Illustration

An essay that clearly demonstrates and supports a point through the use of evidence.

The organization of the essay is best followed by order of importance.

Vary the phrases of illustration you use. Add extra examples to illustrate your idea.

Description

This essay is used to make sure the audience is fully immersed in the words on the page.

The organization of the essay is best followed by spatial order.

Avoid empty descriptions. Use a lot of detail that expresses your thoughts.

Classification

To break a subject down into smaller and more specific parts.

This essay starts with an introductory paragraph that introduces the broader topic and drops into sub categories

Break down any given topic at least three different ways. Choose a topic you know well so it is easier to break it down into smaller parts to make it more interesting.

Process
