I- INTRODUCTION

The Hershey Company is the largest chocolate manufacturer in North America. Its headquarters are in Hershey, Pennsylvania, which is also the home to Hershey's Chocolate World. It was founded by Milton S. Hershey in 1894 as the Hershey Chocolate Company. It is known as the Hershey Foods Corporation, up until April 2005; and then, it is now commonly called as Hershey's.

The Hershey Company has been operating all over the world with approximately 14,000 employees. Their revenues of more than $6 billion, Hershey offers confectionery products under more than 80 brand names. Some of their iconic brands are:

-Reese’s

-Hershey’s Kisses

-Hershey’s Bliss

-Hershey’s Special Dark

-Kit Kat

-Twizzlers

-Jolly Rancher

-Ice Breakers

Also, The Hershey Company is the first one that is able to provide to the public chocolates that has a lower cost, because before, chocolates are considered a luxury and for the rich people only. The Hershey Company engages in the manufacture, marketing, selling, and distribution of various package types of chocolate and confectionery products, pantry items, and gum and mint refreshment products under various brand names. Its five operating segments comprise geographic regions including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and other international locations, such as India, Korea, Japan, the Middle East, China, and the Philippines. The company markets confectionery products in approximately 90 countries worldwide. The Hershey Company is one of the chocolate companies in the United States that is able to live and grow for over a long period of time, because of that, it has become an American icon for its chocolate bar. In addition, Hershey is a member of the World Cocoa Foundation.
