A woman named Kathy Kudler from San Diego, California in the Metropolitan area started Kudler Fine Foods in 1998. Kudler Fine Foods has grown to over three different locations all around the state. Every store’s 8,000 square feet is stocked with all the best-exported and domestic products, from wines to the finest meats. Kudler Fine Foods is very proud of only using the best organic products from the local area farms that are only growing organic foods.

Project Scope

Kudler Fine Foods has is currently using a Frequent Shopper Program, which is a customer loyalty program. This Point-Of-Sale or “POS”, can track a shoppers’ purchases and awarding loyalty points to customers that can be redeemed for products or services in town. At Kudler Fine Foods, price is not the main focus of the business, but specialized, quality products grown from local farms using the must natural chemical free process not found in any of its competitors. This is the reason Kudler has implement the new rewards loyalty program. The basis for the loyalty program is to track the rate in which customers return to shop at Kudler Fine Foods, what items were purchased, and how much money was spend at time of visit. The loyalty rewards program can be redeemed for items like: specialty foods, upgrades to first-class on airline tickets, etc. this loyalty rewards program will monitor and store in large databases, information on records, store purchases, and all the purchases made with the loyalty rewards program. Another benefit of the loyalty rewards program is that Kudler Fine Foods can make yearly predictions on frequently purchased item and in which season it was purchased through data reports of all stores which in-turn can reduce prices and increase revenue.
