Riordan Manufacturing is a global plastics manufacturing company that is wholly owned by Riordan Industries. Their product line includes plastic beverage containers, custom plastic parts and plastic fan parts that are manufactured in its plants in Albany, Georgia, Pontiac, Michigan and Hangzhou, China. With sales exceeding $46 million Riordan implements state of the art IT solutions to stay an agile company on the move. The business systems and subsystems included are Finance/Accounting, HR/Legal, and Sales/Marketing. This paper will highlight the aspects surrounding the HR department.

Project Scope

The scope of a project is an integral part of any new object. The scope is laid out to carve out the results that the project will render. The service requestor, the project development team, as well as members of management have to agree to all terms and conditions of the project scope before the beginning of any work can be started on the project. The scope should include the project’s justification, project objectives, scope description, criteria in which the end result will be accepted, restrictions and limits, and addresses to any inquiries that may arise about the projects.

The stakeholders of Riordan Manufacturing are a major deciding factor of what you will need to determine what type of HR system needs to be implemented. Stakeholders are deeply involved in all major decision-making within the company. The stakeholders involved for this are:
