Take a look at the material on sensation seeking on page 278 (Chapter 8). Do you consider yourself a sensation seeker? Why or why not? What are the advantages and disadvantages of your level of sensation seeking?

I am not considering that I am a sensation seeker because I will think what the result will be after I do it. The advantages are I will avoid the harsh punishment, bad decision and regret in the future. The disadvantages are I will miss out some chances to achieve that I want to do but in deeply I think that is a bad idea.

How would you rate your own achievement motivation? Why? In what ways is this an advantage to you? In what ways is it a disadvantage?

I have an average need for achievement because I believe that it is necessary to be successful to get things in our life, such as a permanent job, which could support my life and offers me one long vacation per year with my family. This is a disadvantage, because I may never have the ability to know that I may never reach my full potential. The advantage is that I will not put achievement before my family and will be able to have a life

What did you learn about yourself from reading about the trait theories of personality?

I did learn about myself that i am a introversion person because I don’t like social life and also I dislike to spend whole day long outside. For example, on my birthday, I prefer to celebrate with my close friends than with a large group of “just friends”.
