The United States attempted to remain neutral in the duration of World War two but being considerably morally just and majestic, war was inevitable. Although, by the time the United States joined the Allies, disaster riddled our European partners. This destruction on both sides led me to support the decision to drop the atom bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japanese forces and the Axis powers in general were far too powerful, the atom bomb prevented future destruction and was ethical compared to other means of victory.

The axis powers were far too powerful and needed their devastating territorial rampage needed to end. Japan had conquered a considerably amount of Asian territory and was gaining an immense amount of power. With this power came confidence, which led to the attack on the United States. Too much power corrupts, and the resulting factors are an illustrative example of what should not be allowed to take place. Hitler's continuing invasions into western and eastern Europe were unethical, and violated countless agreements/policies. This gain of power needed to cease, with the combined efforts of D-day this was successfully accomplished. The Japanese sector of the axis power fell and in a partial result, the European sector was also thwarted. The deployment of the atom bombs prevented the further corruption of European and Asian countries by the axis powers, for that reason I agree with the initial decision to do so.

"We would have kept fighting until all Japanese were killed, but we would not have been defeated", says a Japanese Army officer on what would have happened if the atom bombs had not deployed. The training of Japanese soldiers is so rigorous that they would rather commit suicide than surrender. In my opinion, the deployment of the atom bombs prevented a vast amount of destruction to both sides. Japanese forces would not have stopped until they were completely eliminated.
