Summary

Poisoned Waters is a movie that is based on finding out or investigating the new kind of pollutants that are entering the drinking water and the waterways and the people who are responsible for the level of pollution that exists. In this essay a discussion would be carried out on the movie Poisoned Water and analyze the various new and harmful chemicals that have entered the environment and pose as a threat to the balance of the different elements of nature.

Introduction

United States department of Geography has surveyed and even investigated the kind of water that we have been drinking and to our amaze it contains harmful pollutants in them. Human have been involved in various activities like fishing, washing of clothes, bathing of animals and even working for industries that are discharging the wastes into water. These are the activities that are responsible for the polluting of the waters. They are not only polluting the waters but also spoiling the human health as the humans drink this water after purification which does not get cleaned up fully. They are thereby causing the imbalance of the eco-system (Harvey, 2008).

United States of America has not been able to clean up the waters of the nation as there has been a great contamination of water that has taken place in the country. The major objective of this movie is to spread the awareness among the people on the waters that have been contaminated and spoiled by the industrial wastes and the oil that is leaked out of ships and cruises. Even people have been responsible as they are throwing the wastes of the food into the water only. When these wastes are discharged into the water they pose a threat to the aquatic life that exists under the water.
