Technology advancements have allowed many improvements to the way the business world operates. Great things can be done with technology. A business in New York can make decisions in Dubai within seconds. They can also operate in many different countries with the ease of the internet. New technology can cut operating costs, allow for operations in virtually any location with a large area reach, and allows for smother operations and ease of use. Technology allows small businesses and entrepreneur’s opportunities to get started.

A major way that technology can help small businesses and entrepreneur’s to get started is by cutting their costs. Technology can allow them to do many things from making their own businesses cards to monitoring their finances. These small businesses and entrepreneurs can take the money they save from hiring a finance manager or hiring someone to create their business cards and put it back into their business. By having such a low overhead a small business can start with little to no money at all. Technology would allow any small business or entrepreneur with a vision to get started easily. Since high costs usually stunt the growth of a small business the cost cutting methods that technology offers makes entering into any market a simpler process.

Another area for small businesses and entrepreneurs that technology provides a big help is in location and providing a larger reach of areas from that location. An entrepreneur can start a business in virtually any location. A remote home in the woods or a small storefront on a busy city street can easily be set up as a base of operations. From that base of operations they can reach just about the entire world. Technology can allow small businesses and entrepreneurs the ability to set up shop anywhere.
