Qantas is one of the most popular airways, which belongs to an Australian company. Its history reveals the success through successful implementation of strategies (Times, 2013). Such strategies include the provision of quality transportation to its passengers. The financial success can be judged by the fact that the reported Net profit after tax (NPAT) was $111m during the half of 2012 (Smart, 2012) . Moreover, it has plans to introduce more premium services in order to generate more customer loyalty. It also plan strategies to reduce the capital intensity of the business through the forging the partnerships with carriers that are not economical.

The purpose: This paper is to analyze QANL for offshore institutional investor, then giving advice regarding buying or selling this share.

The method: To analyze this company, the past and current ratios will be compared, P/E ratio, inventory turnover ratio and D/E ratio for instance. Moreover, share performances regarding CSL and its peers will be compared as well.

Finding: The share buyback occurred in 2013 and positive net cash flow was observed with prudent capital management. (Qantas, 2013)
