I glance across the globe and see a world in ruin... We claim as humans to be at the height of all civilizations that have come to be... We stand back and marvel at our art, science and technology and feel a sense of greatness, as we are supposedly healthier, smarter and stronger than our ancestors... I scoff at our arrogance... as "far" as we've come we are NOT civilized, however much we claim to be ... we have become even more heartless and self-serving than ever before... There is a huge difference between careFREE and careLESS and we don't seem to know the difference... As I look, glance and watch, my heart aches and my soul pains with my existence filled with guilt... every morsel that I eat, every drop that I drink, every item of clothing that I own and every second that passes that I am sheltered and at peace... there is someone somewhere who dreams of having half of what I have. ... what hurts me the most is that we... I... you.... us... are solely responsible for the afflictions of man... humans have become hoarders and beings of excess, God provides but man keeps away from those who need. ... and as much as I pour my soul into every letter of every word that I write, and every thought that I process... the plight of the afflicted worsens... there is truly no honour, trust, dignity, decency and truth among mankind...
