Murata Machinery USA Introduces New MW80GT Compact Twin Spindle Turning  Center

1888 Press Release ­ Murata Machinery USA introduces the MW80GT, a twin spindle turning center engineered  to produce parts that are 80 mm (3.15") in diameter and 50 mm (2") in length, with a wide gang tool platform   that gives it more versatility. Charlotte­Gastonia­Rock Hill, NC­SC ­ Murata Machinery USA Inc., a leading manufacturer of high­volume  CNC production machinery, has announced the introduction of a new Muratec twin spindle turning center,  the MW80GT. "The energy­saving MW80GT is designed for compact line operation, flexibility in manufacturing, versatility  and easy setup change," said Steve Landrum, North American Sales Manager of Murata Machinery USA's  Turning business unit. "With its high­speed gantry loaders, fast load/unload times, and reduced machine  idle times, the MW80GT can help you achieve significant cycle time reductions." The MW80GT high­speed, 6000 RPM dual spindle is engineered to produce high­speed parts that are 80  mm (3.15") in diameter and 50 mm (2") in length, with a wide gang tool platform that gives it more  versatility. It features twin horizontal spindles, twin four­station tool blocks and is available with one or two  of the proven Muratec high­speed 3­axis CNC gantry loaders. The MW80GT has an X­axis stroke of 320 mm  and a Z­axis stroke of 200 mm and the same high­speed gantry as the MW50GT. It also works with a variety  of feed and output systems designed and built by Murata Machinery USA.
