Performance Plan Recommendations

Atwood and Allen suggested previously several ideas for Clapton Commercial Construction to consider for increased employee workforce to 20%. These ideas will bring the company in compliance with today’s fast moving environment. Considering the suggestions, Atwood, and Allen will make recommendations for a sound performance plan. The plan will include organizational goals, diversity objectives, organizational branding, organizational diversity, and laws. Additionally, methods for screening, interview, testing. Finally, Atwood, and Allen will provide recommendations for job offers.

Organizational Goals

Clapton Commercial Construction goal is to expand the workforce 20%, comply with laws, understand the culture environment in Arizona, and train new employees as well as current employees about the culture. Clapton Commercial Construction strategy should be defined in detail to accomplish the company’s goals. According to Casio F. W. (2013a), “if a firm’s business strategy emphasizes speed in every function (in developing new products, producing them, distributing them, and responding to feedback from customers the firm needs to rely on teams of workers” (p. 124). This applies to construction industry as well. Developing teams in a business define the methods of solving problems that may arise. The use of teams effectively will increase quality, control cost overruns, and increase production. Each employee should understand the team concept for the company to become diversified. Clapton should consider when developing teams to choose different ethnic, age, and gender when developing teams. This makes a diversified team that can solve problems with different opinionated ideas from individuals.
