Blackwater Electronics has been working with Coastline for some time now and coming across many issues with their security/network infrastructure in areas that must be taken care of immediately. My colleagues and I have set up the Request for Proposal and focused on the security compliance and governance gap analysis to align it with specific topics in the RFP’s description. The following are area’s that we had found to be with Coastline’s plan/ infrastructure/ and policies and how Blackwater Electronics plans to mitigate these issues to provide the most secured infrastructure in the business with an object oriented analysis.

Coastline had a global reach and least 15 servers and two database servers running everything from an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to the organization payroll system that has electronic fund transfer capability. Other things worth nothing are a warm site with 50 miles of the headquarter data center. So, Blackwater Electronics will be developing a new Business Continuity plan for Coastline will be very necessary. A business continuity plan is a plan designed to help Coastline continue to operate during and after a disruption. The disruption can be manmade or a natural disaster. 2. Objectives.

Develop a Business Continuity Plan structure for managing a disaster that affects the COASTLINE.

3. Purpose

The purpose of the BCP is to ensure that mission-critical element of Coastline continue to operate after a disruption. The disruption can be any event that has the potential to stop operations of Coastline.

4. Scope

Coastline procedures relating to business continuity shall apply to all data systems (manual and electronic), designated as critical or impacting data systems of the Coastline. The scope of the plan includes.
