Healthcare organizations are great and does an outstanding job when it comes to operating the healthcare system., but they still have a lot to learn when it comes to managing the the healthcare system more efficiently. Team-based organizations, total quality management, and the internet are great essential ideas to help improve the performance of healthcare organizations. With better management practices, healthcare organizations can improve patient outcomes, lower costs, and raise levels of customer satisfaction.

The best management practice that healthcare organizations will gain the greatest benefit from is team-based organizations. Team-based organizations are a group of people that cooperativerly work together to achieve shared goals. Individuals of the healthcare system have to work together as a team in order to accomplish their shared goal of saving people's lives and promoting the health of the population. No one personcan complete all task that it tasks to care for patients. Although docots make and call the shots on behalf of their patients, they would not do as good of job if they had to take on the responsiability as a doctor and the the responsiabilties of their nurses. They cannot fully take on all responsiabilities and ensure the best healthcare of their patients. In order to be a success, everyone must be able to work as a team and be able to cooperate so that they can reach their goal as a team.

Healthcare organizations have to understand that without proper teamwork and cooperation of everyone their goal as a whole can not be meet.
