Globalization has spread throughout our global economy and continues to profoundly impact international management. The capability of technology and rapid developments of electronic communication have devoured the work environment among many companies around the world. Competition is increasing and career opportunities have taken another path for the current generation and the generations to come. Using the information from Chapter 1 and surrounding sources, I am going to analyze the background on the spread of globalization and how it affects businesses. The following questions will help my analogy:

3. How has globalization changed career opportunities for the current generation?

4. How can you take advantage of globalization in your career plans?

The ability to understand the effect of globalization will equip an individual with the knowledge to make wise decisions, and be successful in such an environment that will continue to change.

Competition has always been the driving force for companies that exist in today’s economy. The will and desire to be better than your competitor is what keeps businesses thriving and continuing to change their outlook to society.
