Plan for Positive Influence

The greatest challenge to understanding today’s leadership is to break it down to its basic components. Successful leaders include guidance and empowering ability along with productivity and achievement. To be an effective leader he or she must understand what it is like to live in a cultural world with different views concerning attitudes, personalities, emotions, and values. In this plan the subject to discuss are several theories and behaviors that take will take place to achieve the project.

Attitudes are evaluative statements either favorable or unfavorable about objects, people, or events (Robbins & Judge, 2011). They influence how we view the world, what we think and what we do. Because attitudes are vital in understanding human thought and behavior, he or she must understand how he or she form their attitude, how he or she attitudes influence their daily lives and how he or she attitude changes over time. The three components of attitudes are cognitive, affective, and behavioral (Robbins & Judge, 2011). Despite the subtle differences, these three elements are inseparable even though they are separate and have different meanings. These concepts are very important to the team.

Job involvement is an attitude and relates to job satisfaction. The first phase of this plan is to develop a team. Then the leaders would evaluate their staff to determine who would best fit working on this project. The leader would look for team members who enjoy his or her work and has team player behaviorism. In order for the project to be completed within a year, we need a group of employees who beliefs in the degree to which they influence their work environment, their competence, the meaningfulness of their job, and their perceived autonomy (Robbins & Judge, 2011).
