The study investigated on the impact of E-procurement on organization productivity. This is because E-Procurement can be an important part of a company's overall strategy for reducing costs. Using an electronic means for purchasing, buying companies can reduce order entry costs and inventory management costs, and at the same time get quicker responses from their suppliers. IOS efficiency benefits are generated by reduced flow time and costs of document generation and transmission, improved data integrity and fewer errors. The specific objectives of the study were: To determine the application of E-Procurement in purchasing at Kapchorua Tea Estate, to establish the strategies put in place to ensure effective functioning of E-Procurement in purchasing at Kapchorua Tea Estate and to establish the benefits of E-procurement in purchasing at Kapchorua Tea Estate. The study adopted a conceptual framework. This research used a case study as the research design; the researcher targeted 40 employees of Kapchorua Tea Estate. These employees were sampled using census method. Data was tallied and presented using descriptive statistics..The research finding is useful to the organization because they would be primary beneficiaries of the research. For purchasing policy purposes this study may act as an eye opener in terms of Procurement information technology. The study will also contribute to the literature in the procuring sector in information technology and online procuring that may boost procuring performance. The study concluded that the major benefit of E- sourcing is the competitive aspect by which suppliers bid projects.
