5 Things I need to do differently So I Can Have My Shit Together

RING RING RING (alarm clock) as I slowly wake up to the annoyance of my alarm clock I lay in bed contemplating, daydreaming; dreading the day ahead. If I had the chance to do it over what would I do differently? The thing is I do have that chance, every day I wake up with a chance to do the next day differently. Today can be that day but where do I start what changes are needed and what outcome am I looking for?

Get up get out and get moving. Perhaps I dread my day to day routine because I only put forth the bare minimum required effort. Make an effort to get off the couch, make an effort to go for a walk

Give everyday a meaningful purpose. The things I do in life shouldn’t be “just because” I have the world and all its resources at my disposal yet in my spare moments I can’t help but feel bored. If I treated the day like I was fulfilling a purpose it’ll give me that spark of motivation I need.

Make time for today. There are only so many hours in the day, and after work, school, commuting, house duties, mom duties, and even showering they’re all accounted for before I open my eyes every morning. I need to stop and ask my kids how their day was and take time to ask my fiancé about work and really listen. Remind myself I’m do all these things to better our future which is nice but at the same time I can’t miss out on the here and now

If I don’t like it, change it. Plain and simple! I dislike my job but I have bills to pay, I’m unhappy about my weight but I don’t have time for exercise. Changes don’t happen overnight and they especially dont happen if I don’t make an effort to change them. Remember that complaining, crying,ignoring, making excuses will not change the things we are unhappy with make a realistic goal get a plan in place and work towards making tomorrow the way I want it.
