When one of my best friend told me that he finally found himself that he should not be a boy, and he felt so happy even further, there were hundreds of questions came to my mind. How could he have a baby? Even if he could adopt a child, did his sexual orientation have an effect on the child? Did the child will be excellent as well as a normal child? However, gay parents do not mean their kids will be gays. There is an abundance of evidence demonstrates that homosexual couple can raise children as successful as heterosexuals. That is, children’s personality and actual behavior is determined by the secretion of hormone, children’s sexual orientation is based on the marital status of their parents. Moreover, same-gender couples parent outcome children.

An obvious result shows that children’s personality and actual behavior is rated to their genetic structure (McCubbin and Dahl, 1985). There are different behavior between homosexual people. In homosexual relationships, some play male roles, the other play female roles. For example, a man who plays a female role tend to be tender, sensitive, even their voices are similar to women’s. Instead of being affected by their parents, these behavior is determined by their hormone. In other words, “A female hormone, prolactin, seems to simulate nurturing, motherly activity in male animals (Rose, Gordon, and Bernstein)”. Most people may concerning that the children raised by homosexual parents will be homosexual too. According to Akpinar’s studies (2010-2011) on children’s sexual orientation found that no evidence can prove there is any relation between the children’s homosexuality and their parents’ sexual orientation. Homosexual parents does not create any difference on their children’s success in school, mental health and social abilities. In fact, those children are more advance in dealing with relationships and social interactions.
