HISTORY

Kellogg’s was founded as the Battle Creek toasted Corn Flakes in 1906. The founder of the Company was Will Keith Kellogg. He invented the most renowned Cereal of all the Times “Corn Flakes” and the credit was shared with Brother Harvey Kellogg. The Company was named as Kellogg Company is 1922. This Company has been producing cereals, Breakfast foods, Milkshakes and Cookies for Nations throughout the world. In the year 1981 innovated Nutri grain as the Cereal. The Cereal was made available in following various flavours and varieties; Almond, Raisin, Rye, Corn, Barley and Wheat. Before it was debuted, it was market tested for complete 5 years. In the year 1991 the Nutri Grain bar was launched. In the year 2007 the Nutri grain Granola Bar was introduced having more Fruits and nuts as compared to competitors. Later in the year 2010 the Nutri grain Superfruit fusion was launched with 3 main flavours tickling the taste buds of all.

Nutri-grain was advertised with the tag line “Whole grain different” and “No spoon has ever held more grain goodness”. It was the first cereal by Kellogg’s which was not flaked, yet was enriched with whole grain and no sugar was added to the same.
