The question that was asked for this paper was “Is the United States government good?” One would say that the United States is the greatest nation in the world and no other country is better. As young kids at a very young age, we are taught that this is the greatest nation in the world and no other nation compares. We are told that this is the “land of the free” and are even given an idea of “The American Dream”. We are the “Super Power” of the world so it must be true, right? The first thought that came to my mind was not too long ago there was a nation that considered themselves as the greatest nation as well. This nation was Germany and the “government” was Adolf Hitler. He killed many people because of his belief and in the eyes of many Germans, it was for the better. Aristotle, who was a Greek philosopher in the fourth century, said “Hence it is evident that the state is a creation of nature, and that man is by nature a political animal. And he who by nature and not by mere accident is without a state, is either a bad man or above humanity” (Aristotle 19). This quote, I feel, is important because it is describing man nature to be a political animal. I feel it is saying that if there is a group of people, someone will want to be in charge and make the decisions because of that political animal nature. This nature can lead them to think they are above humanity like a god. This brings to mind how the United States government thinks they can get into other countries problems and this is starting to be a problem since the United States is making enemies because of it. One could say they might be acting like a God even. Because of this, the people that live in the United States are being forced to become this evil towards the rest of the world because the government is making decisions and has the power.

One would also say that it describes the United States government because of their thirst for power. In public schools they have gone away from God...
