Human Resource Plan
Introduction
Human resources management is an important part of the Holiday Lake Estates Community Center Revitalization Project. The human resource plan will aid management of this project’s activities until completion. The human resources plan includes: Roles and responsibilities of team members, Project organization charts, and Staffing management plan. The staffing management plan focuses on the following: Define how resources will be acquired, timeline for resources/skill sets, training required to develop skills, how performance reviews will be conducted, and recognition and rewards system. The goal of the human resource plan is to assist with project success by ensuring the appropriate human resources are attained with the essential skills, trained individuals that may lack skills, team building strategies are defined, and team activities are effectively managed.
Roles and Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined with any project of the team members and stakeholders. The project team members may represent many different groups or departments with having the concern of the different functional managers depending on the organizational structure. Furthermore, the degrees of authority and responsibility may vary among team members. The roles and responsibilities for the Holiday Lake Estates Community Center Revitalization project are imperative to the project completion and success.
When listing roles and responsibilities the following should be included role, authority, responsibility, and competency.
* Role – gives a description of the portion of the project for which the member is accountable
* Authority – the level at which the member may make decisions, apply project resources, or make approvals
* Responsibility – the work a team member must perform to complete assigned work activities
