Abstract
The Novell Netware version 6.5 has many beneficial features for an IT administrator. Including managing tools, server consolidation tools, branching office tools, and cluster support. These all are highly useful for administrating a network. In addition the Novell Netware v. 6.5 security level based upon the Orange Book shall be introduced. The Orange Books reason behind the security level and a basic overview of what the security level requirements are will also be mentioned.

Introduction
I am writing a 3-4 page paper about a commercial operating system other than Windows or Linux. I am to describe the security level of the operating system based on the Orange Book. I am also to describe the features of the system and its security features. This case study is for a CIT 118 class.
I have chosen to use the Novell Netware version 6.5 as my operating system to evaluate. I will evaluate the security level based upon the Orange Book. Novell Netware 6.5 was released in 2003. Novell Netware 6.5 is an operating system with many features that benefit IT administrators and developers and general users. To begin I will discuss the operating system itself and its features.
