Homosexuality and its Stakeholders

On May 17th, 2004 Massachusetts was the first state to legalize same-sex marriage. Within ten more years, sixteen other states legalized same sex marriage, bringing the grand total to seventeen consenting states. Ellen DeGeneres is a comedian who is open about her homosexuality. She even married her girlfriend, once gay marriage became legal in California about five years ago. She has been openly gay for a while now acting as a crucial activist for not only gay rights but also gay marriage.
