“The Science behind Heartbreak: Risks and Consequences of Heartbreak”

In everything that starts has its ending – like a relationship. And in every end of every relationship, heartbreak is something that is probable to happen. Heartbreak is a very strong feeling of sadness, disappointment, crushing grief, anguish, or distress. It could have been caused by many varieties; it could be the sudden death of a loved one, a difficult break-up or divorce, or the realization that our love for another is unrequited.

It can sometimes seem impossible to deal with a really tough heartbreak. When somebody is heartbroken, he/she tends to missed someone he/she used to spend so much time with, that individual can feel so many different and complicated emotions. But many broken-hearted people camouflage their pain with bright smiles and happy dispositions whenever they can. When someone is inexperienced, it’s easy to pass off these heartbreak side effects as someone just being really dramatic or really sad. But heartbreak is more than just a metaphorical feeling of pain; it could cause a major damage than we ever thought. There is a lot more going on than people think – heartbreaks aren’t just hard emotionally, they’re also hard physically. There’s actually a science behind heartbreak that proves that a broken heart can lead to real and sometimes very serious physical issues. So what is really going on with a person after heartbreak? Here are things that happen to a human body because of heartbreak and exactly why they happen.

Because of pain brought by heartbreak, psycho-emotional complications often take place. Usually people probably spend a good amount of time feeling depressed after heartbreak. This tends to look dramatically sad – heartbreak can cause legit depression. Studies have proven that going through heartbreak makes an individual susceptible to depression. An individual who has experienced the heartbreak can suffer with anxiety, irritability, anger and feelings...
