I would recommend Benji do not sign a contract with the New Gen Health Science. Someone would probably argue that the contract is acceptable and very attractive for the first job, because the salary is 80000 dollars plus commission per year, which is really high, and the location, Atlanta, is also a good place to go. But, we cannot keep one side view in this situation. It is not always wise to go by appearance. We have to consider other points before sign on contract, such as business ethic, organization culture, or personal belief.

Corporate culture can be defined as, “the total of individual employees’ ethical values, in conjunction with the values of productivity, efficiency, and profits; and developed over time by the focus of company management.” (Kubasek, Brennan, Brownel) During the Q&A stage, Benji asked CEO some questions that he had read about the company sending researchers around the world in search of new beneficial health resource. The recruiter answered, “We have the greatest P.R people in the corporate world.” Then, the recruiter change his word immediately, and said,” Well, our P.R people do make a habit of taking promotional photos in exotic locations, but of course most of our products are actually developed right here.” We can see here that the recruiter does not have a strong stand for his company, he usually changes his mind; he may know what he said before is not accurate and he do not want to admit it. Integrity can be defined as, “Integrity, from the Latin integrates, meaning wholeness, completeness, or purity. To courageously hold to what one believes is right and true, without compromise.”(Kubasek, Brennan & Browne) The Cambridge dictionary also defines integrity as, “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles that you refuse to change.” At this moment, the recruiter obviously does not have such strong principle.
