Constant Struggles within a Small Business

Abstract

This paper will address current issues that small businesses face when trying to run their business. Over time, small businesses have made constant attempts to start-up, develop an effective manufacturing company, and work with a network that runs proficiently, however they are still the most prominent problems that the business and owners face. Although these businesses have discussed the problems for several decades, many of them given our current economy have come to the forefront in the past several years.

Introduction

When starting a small business and ensuring that it preserved some form of capital is essential. Once capital is obtained the next process at hand is to ensure that business will prosper in the regards of manufacturing successfully. America is facing an economic decline which makes running any type of business difficult in one way or another. Despite the continuous attempt that small businesses have made to overcome their constant downfall, the main issues that have the biggest negative impact on them are their lack of obtaining capital, inability to produce a successful manufacturing source, and failure to gain education in regards to networking.

Capital

Capital is the source in which businesses need the most in the regards to starting, maintaining and advancing their business. When first starting any business the acquirement of capital must be made. Some form of capital must have been established before a business can begin running. Pre-established capital is what helps to build the foundation of a business by allowing the business owner to get their business up and running; however this is difficult to do because of start up costs.
