Firstly, the continuous in increasing the new entrance into the consumers’ electronics retailer is the main issues that will influence Best Buy’s market share to decline. When the global economic is too hot, most of the electronics’ retailers seen this as an opportunities and will consider to enter into electronic market, and become the competitors of Best Buy. Most of the new competitors are well-known by the public, such as Walmart, Costco, Apple, and the most familiar online shopping retailer- Amazon.com. Since the new entrance enter into the electronics market, it cause the Best Buy’s share price continuous declining. The entrances of new competitors have let the Best Buy losing its own market share; on the other hand, it will make the Walmart, Costco, Apple and Amazon.com achieve their main objective, which is gaining the market share. The reasons that make the new entrance can compete with the giant electronic retailer- Best Buy are their structures, focus, and the products’ features are different from Best Buy, and all of this competitive advantage let the consumers find attractive. For a real example, the Amazon.com provide those online services such as the customers can use the Amazon’s app on their smart phone or computer devices to scan the barcode, and then can directly purchase the products they desire to buy from Amazon at a best price compare to Best buy. This improve in new technology has bring a lot of convenient to the consumers and also to the new entrance, but this will cause the existing firms been expel from the market.
