Comprehensive Technology Plan

As a leading educator, I want to develop the whole child by ensuring my students are engaged daily by being active in their learning process, by enhancing their educational foundation, by building on the core subjects and 21st century themes (ISTE, 2008) according to the Framework for 21st century learning, and by enriching their worldview through the use of technology. Teaching, promoting, and supporting a green environment through digital and mobile technology will give my students a connection to their community and self-fulfillment. My students will learn independence and the necessary skills to balance the work-life situations they will encounter upon entering the professional arena by learning how technology can make them resourceful and efficient in their personal lives and within their careers. Using technology within my classroom will aide in strengthening my students character and ethical compass, as it will make them proud to have learned the technology in which they can apply to every career choice anywhere in the world.

As my vision broadens, my goals are to be respected, successful, and to engage and sustain the attention of a wide range of students by using technology inside the classroom. The alignment of my mission statement as an educator will support the school district’s commitment and key goals to the forward progression technology enhanced learning. The major purpose is to provide a safe and fun learning setting for each student. This goal delivers a motive for being, which is one of the most imperative characteristics of being an educator.
