Murata Machinery USA Introduces New MW120GTEX Twin Spindle CNC Turning Center

Charlotte­Gastonia­Rock Hill, NC­SC  ­ Murata Machinery USA, Inc., the leader in high volume production  turning centers, has announced the introduction of its new MW120GTEX Twin Spindle CNC lathe. "The MW120GTEX is a high­accuracy redesign of one of Muratec's most popular machines, the MW120GT  twin spindle CNC turning center," explained Steve Landrum, North American Sales Manager of Murata  Machinery USA's Turning business unit. "It offers great performance within a small space and provides  exceptional rigidity and high­precision processing, with minimal production time." The MW120GTEX features a high­accuracy spindle for tight tolerance requirements. The location of the Z­ axis ballscrew is centered to improve accuracy and an X­axis box guideway gives the machine added rigidity.  Its two­piece turret coupling also provides greater accuracy, while its twin independent gantries deliver rapid  throughput for higher productivity.
