A Critique of Heal the World

It has always been considered a good thing if someone shows interest in something humanitarian. This is clearly shown in Michael Jackson's unique song that is entitled as Heal the World. The main theme of this song is actually concerned with humanitarianism all over the world. Heal the world is one Jackson's best songs ever; it was produced in 1991 to feature children's suffering from world war problems. That is why Michael Jackson was so proud of this song – it is because of its positive effect on the oppressed and people in general. This essay is going to be a critique that will involve judicious evaluation of this valuable work.

Concerning the topic of the song Heal the World, no one can deny the fact that the main thought presented is to try to lead the world, especially that of children, to the state of peace. "Heal the World is a song that describes a sad world where some people need our help to save their lives." (1) From the very beginning of the song, we can notice that the idea that the maker of this song wants to convey is the importance of the serenity and stability of the world of children. It is really of great significance that people watch this song again and again for the sake of realizing how much important it is to keep children in a safe world. Therefore, it is advisable that one gets enough emotional enthusiasm by watching such a video in terms of feeling sympathized with those are suffering from bad effects of wars.

As for the structure of the video in which this song is presented, it is obvious how suitable the structure is for such an idea. Also, the images used are shown effectively in the sense that they convey a clear-cut message about how innocent children are and why they should live in a peaceful world.
